About the Firm
A global, multi‑office agency FX brokerage is seeking a senior‑level FX Institutional Sales professional with an established, transferable book of business.
Role Overview
The firm is hiring an experienced FX Institutional Salesperson who can originate and manage order flow from sophisticated buy‑side clients. This role is ideal for someone who has spent many years in FX sales-most commonly at a major bank or established broker-who is ready to transition out of a 12‑hour bank seat into a more entrepreneurial environment with uncapped earning potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Originate and maintain institutional FX order flow from hedge funds, asset managers, banks, and other buy‑side entities.
- Cover and deepen relationships specifically with portfolio managers and trading decision‑makers.
- Work client orders by accessing broad liquidity across the market and executing anonymously.
- Provide market color, execution support, and high‑touch service typical of an agency brokerage trading desk.
- Operate independently in a production‑driven, commission‑only sales environment.
Candidate Profile
- Typically 15-20+ years of FX sales experience at a bank or broker‑dealer.
- Must have a transferable, book of business and confidence in bringing relationships with them.
- Strong understanding of FX markets, liquidity, and institutional execution.
- Backgrounds may include major banks or other brokerage firms (e.g., those serving institutional FX clients).
- Senior, seasoned, and ready for an entrepreneurial environment where effort directly drives compensation.
- Comfortable working without a base salary and motivated by high payout potential.
