C++ Engineer
The Role
This C++ Engineer will be working on a top-tier trading firm's FPGA & Order Entry team, which plays a crucial role in maintaining and advancing the software that links their algorithmic trading platform to nearly 50 global exchanges.
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to operate as the sole senior C++ engineer in their US-based office, granting you both a heavy degree of autonomy, as well as the chance to mentor junior hires as they scale the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploying and fine-tuning colocation environments for optimal performance
- Implementing and maintaining binary market protocols
- Leveraging advanced FPGA technologies to enable ultra-low-latency execution in highly competitive markets
- Ensuring robust risk controls are consistently applied across all systems
Who We're Looking For
We're seeking a skilled and motivated engineer with the following qualifications:
- Strong experience in modern C++ and C# development
- Proven ability to work in high-performance, low-latency Linux environments
- Prior experience in order entry systems or working alongside an FPGA team.
