About the Role:
Our client, an established broker-dealer and investment bank, is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead its finance and regulatory operations. This is a leadership role for a candidate with deep expertise in broker-dealer financial management, particularly in clearing operations, regulatory reporting, and FINRA/SEC compliance. The ideal candidate will hold active Series licenses, including FINOP designation, and bring a strategic mindset to managing financial controls, capital requirements, and operational efficiency in a highly regulated environment.
Qualifications:
- CPA preferred; Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in financial leadership roles within a broker-dealer or investment bank.
- Strong understanding of clearing operations and broker-dealer financial regulations.
- Active Series 27 or 28 license and FINOP designation required.
- Experience with financial systems and reporting tools; strong analytical and communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead teams and work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
