Bunker Trader - Europe (Flexible Location)

We are partnering with a rapidly growing global marine fuels business that is expanding its commercial trading team across Europe. As part of their strategic growth plans, they are seeking experienced and entrepreneurial Bunker Traders to drive revenue, build client relationships, and play a key role in establishing new regional hubs.

This is an opportunity for high-performing sales professionals to join a dynamic, agile environment with strong leadership backing and clear growth ambitions across Europe and the USA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a portfolio of shipping clients, delivering marine fuel solutions across global markets

  • Drive revenue generation through proactive sales and relationship management

  • Identify and onboard new customers while expanding existing accounts

  • Negotiate commercial terms and execute profitable bunker transactions

  • Monitor market trends, pricing, and supply dynamics to maximise margins

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless trade execution and customer satisfaction

  • Contribute to the growth of the business, with potential to support the establishment of new regional entities

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in bunker trading or related marine fuel sales

  • Demonstrated sales success, with a proven track record of generating at least USD 100k+ in gross profit

  • Transferable client base within the shipping or marine fuels sector

  • Strong commercial mindset with a customer-first approach

  • Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

  • Ambition to take on leadership responsibilities and grow a team over time

Preferred Background

  • Strong market experience aligned with Danish, Norwegian, or American markets

  • Established industry network within key shipping hubs

  • Experience working in international trading environments
