Selby Jennings is currently partnering with a leading private markets advisory and fundraising platform seeking to hire a Project Manager to join its London team.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders across fundraising mandates, supporting both existing client relationships and strategic business development initiatives.
The role offers exposure to leading private capital managers, institutional investors, and a broad range of fundraising processes across the private markets landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate project management activities across fundraising mandates.
- Prepare high-quality marketing, fundraising, and presentation materials for private capital managers.
- Conduct analytical assessment and screening of prospective client opportunities.
- Analyse fund track records, financial performance metrics, and due diligence materials.
- Collaborate closely with fundraising and investor relations professionals to support capital raising processes.
- Assist with investor engagement initiatives and ongoing fundraising activities.
- Contribute to business development and origination efforts, helping to identify and build relationships with prospective private markets managers.
- Manage multiple workstreams simultaneously while ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met to a high standard.
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will be highly organised, commercially minded, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements include:
- 3+ years of experience within financial services, investment banking, private markets, placement advisory, transaction services, due diligence, or a related field.
- Strong analytical capabilities combined with a practical, execution-focused approach.
- Excellent attention to detail and project management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively.
- Proactive, driven, and results-oriented mindset.
- Degree educated, ideally achieving a 2:1 classification or equivalent.
- Financial modelling experience and strong quantitative skills.
- Experience leveraging AI-driven tools and technologies to improve efficiency and deliver measurable outcomes is highly advantageous.
