Company Summary: We are currently partnered with a leading venture capital firm is seeking a Venture Operations Associate to own and optimize its back-office infrastructure. This role reports directly to the COO and serves as the operational engine of the firm. It's a unique opportunity to join a high-conviction investment platform shaping transformative industries.
Venture Operations Associate Responsibilities:
- Maintain internal books, oversee fund administrators, and ensure audit-ready records.
- Manage tax calendars and review filings across multiple jurisdictions.
- Support budgeting, liquidity forecasting, valuations, and ad-hoc reporting.
- Drive transaction closings, assist with fund launches, and maintain portfolio hygiene.
- Design workflows, implement Airtable-based systems, and manage digital filing structures.
- Coordinate between Legal, Compliance, and Finance teams to streamline operations.
Venture Operations Associate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
- 3-6 years in Venture Capital, Investment Banking, Transaction Advisory, or Fund Operations.
- Strong understanding of venture capital instruments and US GAAP!
