Key Responsibilities
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly market risk reports, including Value-at-Risk (VaR), options analysis, and stress testing.
- Conduct quantitative analysis of the company's portfolio risk profile across commodities and products.
- Deliver ad-hoc analytical support for Market Risk and Middle Office activities, including onboarding of new businesses and products.
- Drive digitalization and automation initiatives to streamline reporting and reduce manual processes.
- Collaborate on IT systems development and testing to enhance risk tools and onboard new products.
- Support the development, enhancement, and validation of market risk models and ensure accurate option booking validation.
Key Requirements
- Degree in a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, finance, engineering, or economics.
- 3 - 5 years of experience in commodities trading, preferably with exposure to Gas and LNG products.
- Strong understanding of energy risk management and derivatives, including options.
- Proficiency in risk metrics and models such as VaR and stress testing.
- Technical skills in Excel, VBA, Power BI, SQL; experience with Python, Alteryx, and Allegro/FEA/Topez is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in global, hybrid teams.
