Salary: $225k-$250k + bonus

Summary:

This is an opportunity to join a growing multi-strategy hedge fund and play a key role in scaling and enhancing the operational infrastructure that supports a diverse portfolio of investment strategies and asset classes. Partnering closely with Investment, Finance, Treasury, Risk, Compliance, Technology, and Middle Office teams, you will oversee core hedge fund operations, including fund administrator oversight, month-end close, cash and position reconciliations, and trade lifecycle management, while helping to build scalable processes, strengthen controls, and drive automation initiatives across the platform. This role offers a unique blend of strategic project work and hands-on execution in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment. The ideal candidate must come directly from a hedge fund and bring deep expertise across hedge fund operations, strong experience partnering with fund administrators, prime brokers, and counterparties, and a proven track record of improving operational workflows, infrastructure, and controls within a growing investment management platform.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Oversee core hedge fund operations, including month-end close, fund administrator oversight, cash and position reconciliations, and related operational controls.
• Support the full trade lifecycle across multiple strategies and asset classes within a multi-strategy hedge fund environment.
• Partner with fund administrators, prime brokers, counterparties, auditors, and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely operational processing.
• Build and enhance scalable operational workflows, controls, infrastructure, documentation, and reporting frameworks to support firm growth.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and drive automation, operational efficiencies, and best practices across the Operations function.
• Collaborate closely with Middle Office, Finance, Treasury, Compliance, Technology, Risk, and Investment teams.
• Monitor operational risks and ensure adherence to internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as a senior, hands-on member of the team, balancing strategic initiatives with daily execution.

The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications and skills:

• 4+ years of hedge fund operations experience and 8+ years of overall professional experience, preferably within a multi-strategy hedge fund environment.
• Strong understanding of hedge fund operational workflows, including month-end close, fund administrator oversight, reconciliations, and operational controls.
• Experience managing cash and position reconciliations across multiple accounts, entities, and investment strategies.
• Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-accountability environments with a hands-on, execution-oriented mindset.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience building, scaling, or enhancing operational processes within a growing organization is highly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree required.
