VP Capital Markets Audit
We are partnered with an internationally leading investment bank to build out their Capital Markets Audit team in New York. The firm is looking to add a VP with at least 8 years of experience supporting the front office and executing audits covering Credit, Securitized Products, and Financing products. This individual will be responsible for overseeing multiple concurrent audits for the Capital Markets division and will oversee a team of auditors on a day to day basis.
Responsibilities:
- Identify operational risks to support the execution of the audit plan
- Assess and evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls
- Identify and mitigate risks in alignment with regulatory requirements
- Communicate audit findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Monitor industry trends and developments to provide insights and best-practice recommendations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 8+ years of audit experience
- Subject Matter Expert in Fixed Income Financing
- Previous experience with Investment Banking
- Experience planning and supporting audits across key business areas
- Relevant qualifications such as CPA, CFA, or CISA
