Vice President, Global Strategy & Transformation
Role Overview:
As Vice President, the Strategy & Transformation Program Manager will be responsible for driving complex, cross-functional change initiatives across the Global Trade Desk, with a primary focus on Markets businesses including secondary markets and sales & trading. This role involves translating strategic objectives into actionable programs, coordinating delivery across multiple business units, and ensuring outcomes are aligned with long-term business goals. Success in this role requires a strong foundation in program management, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement across global financial environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the full lifecycle of transformation programs or portfolios-from strategic planning and design through execution and post-implementation review.
- Partner with senior leaders across Markets and supporting functions to define business goals, agree on target operating models, and assign ownership.
- Align stakeholders across front office, operations, risk, compliance, finance, and technology to ensure coordinated execution and accountability.
- Track progress across workstreams, proactively manage risks and dependencies, and resolve issues to maintain momentum and delivery quality.
- Assess program outcomes to ensure completeness, sustainability, and alignment with strategic priorities.
- Contribute to the development of business strategies that support growth, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
- Deliver clear, concise reporting and insights to senior management and governance bodies.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in strategy, transformation, or program management within a global financial institution.
- Strong understanding of Markets businesses, particularly sales & trading and trade lifecycle operations.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in a complex, matrixed environment.
- Familiarity with Agile, Lean, or other transformation frameworks.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
