Overview
A leading global investment bank is seeking a Vice President to join its Restructuring & Capital Solutions team in Germany. The role involves advising clients in complex financial situations, including corporate restructurings, liability management, and distressed M&A. The successful candidate will be instrumental in managing transactions, mentoring junior professionals, and driving strategic client engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead execution of financial restructuring and special situations transactions across sectors.
- Advise stakeholders including corporates, creditors, and investors in distressed scenarios.
- Manage client relationships and contribute to business development efforts.
- Supervise and mentor Associates and Analysts, ensuring analytical rigor and quality.
- Oversee financial modeling, valuation, and strategic scenario analysis.
- Coordinate with international teams on cross-border mandates.
- Support origination of new mandates through market insights and relationship building.
Qualifications
- 6-8 years of experience in investment banking, restructuring advisory, or distressed investing.
- Demonstrated expertise in executing complex financial transactions.
- Strong academic credentials; MBA or equivalent preferred.
- Fluent in German and English.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-performance environment.
