Job Title: Trade Operations Specialist
Location: NYC (hybrid)
Salary: $100k - $150k + bonus
Summary:
We are currently representing a leading firm in quantitative trading that is actively seeking talented professionals to join their expanding Trade Operations team. In this role, you will oversee and support high-frequency trading strategies, working closely with seasoned experts and senior leadership. You'll collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders, playing a key role in driving market expansion. The ideal candidate will bring a strong track record of process improvement and come from a buy-side firm engaged in high-frequency trading.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Enhance trading processes by developing scripts to automate and improve daily operations and reporting
- Monitor live trading activities for risk and compliance, addressing any unusual market behavior promptly.
- Work with software engineering teams to upgrade and maintain trading infrastructure and monitoring systems.
- Streamline and optimize trading support workflows using scripting languages.
- Oversee enterprise systems related to scheduling, software releases, and operational monitoring.
- Support new market deployments by collaborating on infrastructure and connectivity with internal teams.
- Manage strategies with a T+0 holding period, ensuring precision and speed in execution and reconciliation.
The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications and skills:
- 2+ year's experience in trade support or risk operations
- Extensive experience with Unix/Linux environments and command-line tools.
- Practical expertise in using Python, Jupyter, and SQL for data analysis and automation.
- Experience working with Futures.
- Graduate degree in statistics, mathematics, science, or another quantitative discipline is a plus.
