Tech M&A Vice President | Bulge Bracket

Selby Jennings is partnered with a Bulge Bracket looking to bolster their Investment Banking Tech M&A team. Their office in San Francisco is home to both Global Heads of Technology Investment Banking, with this team well known for their works across Software and Semiconductor M&A.

Ideal candidates are currently 1st or 2nd year Investment Banking Vice Presidents coming from Tech M&A or coverage with deep experience on transaction execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of M&A transactions, including buy-side, sell-side, and strategic advisory
• Manage client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives
• Oversee financial modeling, valuation analysis, and due diligence processes
• Prepare and present pitch books, management presentations, and marketing materials
• Mentor and manage junior team members (Associates and Analysts)
• Support business development efforts and contribute to deal origination

Qualifications

• 4-10 years of experience in investment banking, with a strong focus on technology M&A
• Proven track record of leading and closing transactions
• Deep understanding of financial modeling, valuation techniques, and deal structuring
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred
