Our client, a leading wealth management firm serving ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) individuals and families, is seeking a Director of Tax to join their team in Philadelphia. This is a strategic leadership role focused on delivering sophisticated tax planning and compliance solutions for complex portfolios and multi-generational wealth structures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the firm's tax strategy for UHNW clients, including trusts, estates, partnerships, and investment entities.
• Oversee tax compliance and planning across federal, state, and international jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with advisors, attorneys, and external partners to optimize tax efficiency and mitigate risk.
• Provide thought leadership on evolving tax laws and their impact on client strategies.
• Manage and mentor a high-performing tax team.

Qualifications:

• CPA or JD required; advanced tax credentials preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive tax experience, ideally within wealth management, family office, or private client services.
• Expertise in estate planning, gift tax, and partnership taxation.
• Strong leadership and client-facing skills with the ability to navigate complex financial structures.
