Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and reconcile statutory accounting records in compliance with regulations and standards
  • Prepare accurate, timely financial statements for statutory reporting
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect and validate financial data
  • Assist in audit preparation and support external auditors during reviews
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Stay informed on changes in statutory accounting regulations to ensure compliance
  • Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment
  • Participate in special projects and perform ad-hoc financial analyses as needed
  • Conduct in-depth analytics on statutory reporting and prepare management discussion and analysis
  • Develop summary reports and agendas based on analytical findings
  • Prepare and reconcile State Premium Stop-Loss recovery billing
  • Perform general ledger activities, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations, to support monthly close processes
