Senior Manager - Finance Accounting

We are partnering with a leading global retail and logistics enterprise to recruit a Senior Manager for its International Finance Shared Services team. This role will support APAC and Middle East operations, working closely with the regional leader for succession planning and driving process excellence across multiple hubs.

This role is responsible for managing end-to-end accounting operations, financial reporting, process optimization, audit and compliance, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure accurate financials, operational efficiency, and strategic business support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounting Operations: Manage end-to-end accounting processes, including daily transactions, compliance checks, and month/year-end closing to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records.
• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare timely financial statements and conduct variance analysis to provide actionable insights for business decisions.
• Process Optimization: Drive automation and system enhancements, refine SOPs, and strengthen internal controls to improve efficiency and compliance.
• Audit & Compliance: Coordinate internal and external audits, ensure tax compliance, and maintain adherence to regulatory standards.
• Risk Management: Perform reconciliations, identify financial risks, and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard company assets.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with business and technology teams to align financial processes with operational needs and support new business initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in finance operations or shared services.
• Proven expertise in finance shared services and financial settlement processes.
• Fluency in Mandarin is mandatory; English proficiency required for international collaboration.
• Relevant experience in the retail industry
• Leadership experience is an advantage but not a strict requirement.
• Eligibility for work visa sponsorship.
