An international bank with a strong presence in Amsterdam is currently seeking a Senior Data & Reporting Specialist to join its dynamic finance and analytics team. As an external recruitment partner, we are supporting this search confidentially on behalf of the organization.

About the Role

In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for producing and managing a wide range of reports-daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly-used by stakeholders across multiple geographies. You'll work closely with finance and audit teams to ensure accurate, timely, and insightful reporting that supports strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute daily and multi-period reports to internal stakeholders
• Support monthly reporting cycles with clean, structured data
• Collaborate with teams to ensure reporting consistency and clarity
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and transformation
• Build and maintain dashboards using BI tools (Power BI preferred)
• Perform basic bookkeeping tasks to support financial reporting
• Act as a key reporting analyst within the finance function

Ideal Profile

• 5+ years of experience in data reporting, preferably within banking or financial services
• Strong command of SQL - able to write and troubleshoot queries independently
• Proficient in Power BI, Excel, and other reporting tools
• Familiarity with financial data and basic accounting principles
• Experience working with audit teams or in audit-related environments is a plus
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast-paced international setting
• Fluent in English; additional language skills are a bonus but not required
