Key Responsibilities:
* Lead development and oversight of cash flow forecasts, DIP budgets, and 13-week cash models, including scenario analysis, breakeven, and profitability assessments.
* Partner with client personnel to monitor disbursements, track budget compliance, prepare weekly variance reports, and develop liquidity maximization strategies.
* Identify and analyze operational and financial performance issues, delivering actionable recommendations.
* Prepare and present client-ready insights and deliverables, including presentations highlighting key assumptions, forecast drivers, and cash flow results.
* Support turnaround and restructuring strategies, including business planning, cost reduction, liquidity assessment, and debt renegotiation.
* Drive the development and execution of bankruptcy-related filings (SOFAs, schedules, 1st days), support preparation for Initial Debtor Interview, and fulfill court and stakeholder information requests.
* Own and oversee production of monthly operating reports, court filings, and disclosure statement support, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal and DIP lender requirements.
* Manage stakeholder engagement and support negotiations with creditors, equity holders, vendors, and legal advisors.
* Supervise transaction process support, coordinating with client teams and claims agents while ensuring completeness, accuracy, and readiness for leadership review.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Business, or a related field (MBA, CFA, or CPA preferred).
* 5-8 years of experience in financial analysis, restructuring, bankruptcy consulting, or turnaround management.
* Strong understanding of bankruptcy proceedings (Chapter 11, Chapter 7), restructuring frameworks, and financial modeling and reporting requirements
* Experience with 3 statement financials, cash flow analysis, and debt restructuring.
* Familiarity with bankruptcy code and legal requirements is a plus. * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis tools.
* Familiarity with Internet-based financial research resources for corporate information, SEC filings, competitive data, etc. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience in client-facing roles.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
* Ability to travel up to 50%
