About the Role
We are partnering with a leading Global Markets platform seeking an Associate to Director level Real Money Rates Sales professional to join its Paris office. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing relationships with institutional investors across France and broader Europe, delivering market insight and fixed income solutions across a wide range of rates products.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious sales professional to join a highly regarded rates franchise with strong trading, research and syndicate capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships with institutional investors, including asset managers, insurance companies, pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, central banks and bank treasuries.
- Market a broad range of rates products including government bonds, interest rate swaps, inflation products, SSA bonds, repo and financing solutions, and rates derivatives.
- Generate trade ideas and provide clients with market colour, macroeconomic views and investment opportunities.
- Work closely with trading, research, syndicate and DCM teams to deliver tailored solutions to clients.
- Drive revenue growth through the expansion of existing relationships and the acquisition of new clients.
- Support primary issuance and investor engagement across sovereign, supranational and agency borrowers.
- Maintain a strong understanding of interest rate markets, central bank policy and investor flows.
Requirements
- Experience within Rates Sales, Fixed Income Sales, SSA Sales or Institutional Sales.
- Exposure to real money investors is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of fixed income products and interest rate markets.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain institutional client relationships.
- Excellent communication and commercial skills.
- Fluent French and English.
