Real Estate Investments Analyst
Position Overview
The Real Estate Investments Analyst will play a key role in supporting the full lifecycle of real estate investment activities, including development, acquisitions, and asset management. This position offers exposure to a broad range of asset classes and project types, working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to drive value across the portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Development
- Assist in site selection, due diligence, and feasibility analysis for new development projects.
- Support the preparation of financial models, budgets, and project schedules.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and municipal agencies throughout the entitlement and construction process.
- Monitor project progress, track key milestones, and help resolve issues to ensure timely delivery.
Acquisition
- Source and evaluate new investment opportunities, including underwriting and market research.
- Prepare investment memoranda and present recommendations to the investment committee.
- Participate in negotiations, transaction structuring, and closing processes.
- Conduct property tours, coordinate third-party reports, and assist with legal documentation.
Asset Management
- Monitor operating performance of assets, including financial and operational metrics.
- Assist in the development and execution of business plans for existing assets.
- Support leasing, capital improvement, and disposition strategies.
- Prepare regular asset management reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or related field.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in real estate investment, development, or asset management.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills (Excel proficiency required).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with the Raleigh/Durham real estate market is a plus.
