Position Overview

The Real Estate Investments Analyst will play a key role in supporting the full lifecycle of real estate investment activities, including development, acquisitions, and asset management. This position offers exposure to a broad range of asset classes and project types, working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to drive value across the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Development

  • Assist in site selection, due diligence, and feasibility analysis for new development projects.
  • Support the preparation of financial models, budgets, and project schedules.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and municipal agencies throughout the entitlement and construction process.
  • Monitor project progress, track key milestones, and help resolve issues to ensure timely delivery.

Acquisition

  • Source and evaluate new investment opportunities, including underwriting and market research.
  • Prepare investment memoranda and present recommendations to the investment committee.
  • Participate in negotiations, transaction structuring, and closing processes.
  • Conduct property tours, coordinate third-party reports, and assist with legal documentation.

Asset Management

  • Monitor operating performance of assets, including financial and operational metrics.
  • Assist in the development and execution of business plans for existing assets.
  • Support leasing, capital improvement, and disposition strategies.
  • Prepare regular asset management reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in real estate investment, development, or asset management.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills (Excel proficiency required).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with the Raleigh/Durham real estate market is a plus.
