Quantitative Developer (Crypto Low Latency)

A rapidly growing proprietary trading firm, founded by a small team of ambitious traders with prior collaboration with a leading multi manager, is seeking a Quantitative Developer to work on its crypto book. The firm has recently launched its own operation, building cutting-edge technology and proprietary systematic strategies focused on yield, delta-neutral arbitrage, and market-making. Originally an order management system provider, the firm has evolved into a full investment platform and now manages internal capital. This is an opportunity to work on production grade infrastructure, collaborate with experience quant researchers and HFT engineer and have direct ownership over projects with real impact. This is a small, hands on and elite team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain ultra-low latency connectivity to multiple trading venues using industry-standard protocols and APIs.
  • Build and optimize data pipelines, order routing, and execution logic for maximum speed and reliability.
  • Profile and fine-tune trading applications for latency, throughput, and stability in live environments.
  • Implement monitoring and benchmarking tools for real-time performance tracking.
  • Deploy and manage services in cloud and containerized environments.
  • Contribute to infrastructure supporting signal ingestion, backtesting, and simulation frameworks.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in quantitative development or low-latency trading in a crypto, high-frequency trading, or market-making.
  • Strong in C++ or Rust, with production-level experience in Python.
  • Hands-on experience integrating exchange APIs and handling real-time data streams.
  • Solid understanding of market microstructure, order types, and execution dynamics.
  • Familiarity with event-driven systems (e.g., Kafka) and cloud platforms (AWS).
  • Knowledge of asynchronous programming, network optimization, and multithreaded performance.
