Private Equity Deal Sourcing Associate

A leading lower middle market private equity firm with several billion dollars in assets under management is looking to expand their Business Development and Deal Sourcing team by adding a Private Equity Deal Sourcing Associate. The firm has a decades-long track record and is laser-focused on executing their targeted investment strategy looking at high-growth businesses in the technology space.

The Private Equity Deal Sourcing Associate will:

• Conduct market research in line with the firm's investment thesis to detail the market landscape and create a targeted list of prospects
• Drive sourcing efforts including building and maintaining relationships with founders and executives of target companies
• Assist the broader team on ad hoc projects as related to scaling the business development and proprietary deal sourcing function

The Private Equity Deal Sourcing Associate should have:

• 1-4 years of direct sourcing experience within private equity, venture capital, investment banking, or other financial services related company. General sales experience will not be a fit.
• An entrepreneurial mindset and an interest and drive to succeed in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
• Experience building relationships with founders and C-Suite and ability to develop rapport quickly
• Fundamental knowledge of accounting and finance
• Bachelor's degree from a reputable university
