Private Equity Associate

Selby Jennings is partnering with an investment firm managing over $8 billion in capital. This firm is a generalist private equity and credit investor focused on underserved lower middle market companies with $10M-$150M in revenue across a wide range of industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work on live deals from origination through execution and portfolio management
• Partner closely with VPs on underwriting, diligence, and structuring
• Contribute to investment memos, modeling, and deal negotiations
• Help manage and monitor portfolio companies post-close

Qualifications:

• 1.5-3 years of experience in investment banking or private equity
• Strong financial modeling, writing, and communication skills
• Ties to Texas
• Experience across multiple sectors
• Open to PE-to-PE laterals and IB-to-PE transitions
