We're working with a leading trading technology company seeking a Principal C++ Developer to join their Instrument Team. This is a fully remote opportunity for candidates based in Poland, who are already working on a B2B contract.

Role Overview:

As a Principal C++ Developer, you'll be a key contributor to the Instrument Team, which builds and maintains the core infrastructure for financial instrument modelling and management. This team ensures every trade, quote, and market data tick is accurately represented and processed in real time across asset classes.

Responsibilities:

• Hands-on Lead tech development of high-performance C++ components for instrument modelling and market data handling.
• Architect low-latency systems for real-time data ingestion and processing.
• Collaborate with Quant, Trading, and Infrastructure teams to integrate instrument logic into trading workflows.
• Drive innovation in instrument representation, including support for complex derivatives and structured products.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in modern C++ (C++17/20) in high-performance environments.
• Good understanding of financial instruments and trading systems is ideal but not mandatory.
• Proven experience with latency sensitive products, multithreaded systems and performance optimisation.
