Medicare & VBC Consulting Actuary

A leading brokerage firm is seeking an actuary to join its team, specializing in healthcare analytics, value-based care (VBC), managed care programs, and government initiatives such as ACO REACH and Medicare. This is a fully remote role offering the chance to work on strategic, client-facing projects that shape healthcare delivery and financing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide actuarial support for VBC arrangements, managed care strategies, and risk-sharing models.
• Analyze and model data for Medicare Advantage, ACO REACH, and other CMS-aligned programs.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to deliver strategic insights and recommendations.
• Contribute to pricing, forecasting, and risk adjustment efforts across various healthcare programs.

Ideal Candidate:

• ASA designation (or near-ASA with strong exam progress).
• Experience in healthcare actuarial work, ideally with exposure to consulting.
• Familiarity with government programs such as Medicare, Medicaid, ACO REACH, and managed care structures.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
