Position Overview
Our client is seeking a dynamic and strategic Investor Relations Associate to join their Capital Formation team. This role offers a clear growth trajectory, with the potential to step into a leadership position. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing investor communications, supporting fundraising initiatives, and overseeing reporting processes for a growing alternative investment firm. This position involves handling investor inquiries, coordinating due diligence, and maintaining accurate CRM records, while actively participating in investor meetings and roadshows. The role also includes managing fund closes, KYC/AML processes, and supervising an Investor Relations Analyst.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle investor inquiries and communications.
  • Prepare marketing materials and coordinate due diligence for fundraising.
  • Maintain CRM records and manage prospective investor pipeline.
  • Oversee quarterly reporting process and ensure accuracy.
  • Participate in investor meetings and roadshows.
  • Manage LP fund closes, KYC/AML processes, and ad hoc projects.
  • Manage investor relations, reporting, and assist in capital raising efforts.
  • Supervise and mentor an Investor Relations Analyst.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in investor relations (private equity, hedge fund, asset management, or investment banking).
  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word.
  • Bachelor's degree (Finance, Accounting, or Business preferred).
  • Knowledge of credit/leveraged finance and lower middle market investing is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and in a small team environment.
