- The Vice President, IB // Restructuring role at Partners offers an ideal opportunity for candidates to leverage the firm's rapidly expanding platform to deliver restructuring investment banking services to middle market companies experiencing transformation, transition, stress and / or distress, including liability management, financing, M&A and / or restructuring solutions, whether implemented out-of-court or through bankruptcy. The role represents a unique opportunity for a highly capable professional to make substantial contributions to overall firm growth in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.
Responsibilities
- Work with the team (Associates to Managing Directors) to execute all deliverables necessary to consummate transactions for our middle-market clients undergoing transformation, transition, stress and/or distress
- Preparing, reviewing and analyzing valuation analysis, debt capacity analysis, financial modeling, credit document analysis, restructuring analysis and modeling
- Running both sales and financing processes, both in-court or out-of-court, and overseeing associated diligence
- Create and present internal and external client deliverables
- Negotiating, documenting and assisting in transaction execution
- Provide professional development coaching to junior team members
- Share and manage best practices as well as lead internal trainings where required
- Support business development efforts while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients
- Support talent acquisition and firm development efforts
- Contribute to creating a high-performing and inclusive culture
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a top undergraduate program
- Located or willing to relocate to Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York or Philadelphia
- Invested in a team-based culture that involves in office four days per week and willing to work at client sites as needed
- Seven plus years of professional experience, including four plus years of investment banking transaction experience, in restructuring or restructuring-related practice lines
- Knowledge of bankruptcy law, valuation and credit agreements
- Series 79 and 63 FINRA licensing preferred or the ability to obtain within 120 days of employment
- Ability to successfully work in a small, collaborative team environment
- High degree of maturity with a proven ability to interact with senior executives, private equity firms, lenders, lawyers, middle managers and line workers
- Ability to deliver and craft articulate, persuasive presentations, with elevated attention to messaging, structuring, formatting and quality control
Salary: $200,000k - $275,000k
