Role Overview
As a Business Development Analyst, you will support senior bankers in identifying new business opportunities, conducting market research, and preparing client-facing materials. Key Responsibilities
Market Research & Analysis:
- Conduct research on industries, companies, and market trends to identify potential clients and strategic opportunities.
- Prepare industry reports and competitive analyses for internal and client use.
Lead Generation & Pipeline Management:
- Assist in sourcing and qualifying prospective clients for M&A, capital raising, and advisory services.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and track pipeline progress.
Pitch & Presentation Support:
- Collaborate with senior team members to develop pitch books, proposals, and marketing materials.
- Prepare company profiles and financial summaries for client meetings.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Monitor business development metrics and prepare reports for leadership.
- Support strategic planning with data-driven insights.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or business development (internship experience acceptable).
- Strong understanding of financial statements and valuation concepts.
- Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases (Bloomberg, Capital IQ, PitchBook).
