Position Overview
The firm is seeking an experienced Investment Banking Associate to join its Healthcare M&A team. The ideal candidate will have strong transaction execution experience, advanced financial modeling skills, and a proven track record working on live M&A transactions.
Healthcare experience is preferred but not required. Candidates from other industry coverage groups will be considered if they possess strong M&A execution capabilities and meaningful closed deal experience.
Responsibilities
- Execute sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions from initiation through closing
- Build and review financial models, valuation analyses, and transaction materials
- Prepare pitch books, confidential information memorandums, management presentations, and marketing materials
- Conduct financial analysis, industry research, and strategic assessments
- Manage due diligence processes and coordinate with clients, buyers, legal counsel, and other advisors
- Participate in client meetings and contribute to transaction strategy discussions
- Mentor and oversee Analysts on deal execution and day-to-day responsibilities
- Work closely with senior bankers across multiple healthcare verticals
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of investment banking experience
- Current Associate or Senior Analyst ready for promotion
- Strong M&A transaction execution experience with multiple closed transactions
- Prior experience at a Bulge Bracket, Elite Boutique, or established Middle Market investment bank preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency in financial modeling, valuation, and transaction analysis
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Healthcare experience is a plus but not required
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
