Job Title: Associate- Investment Banking

Location: Denver or Boston

Position Overview:

We are proud to partner with a leading middle market full service Investment bank that is actively seeking to expand its Generalist coverage team. This firm is renowned for its deep industry knowledge, exceptional execution capabilities, and a consistent track record of advising on some of the most high-profile and complex transactions. As part of this strategic growth initiative, the firm is looking to hire a highly experienced and driven Associate to join its dynamic and collaborative team.

This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned investment banking professional to play a key leadership role in deal execution, client relationship management, and strategic advisory within a high-performing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the execution of M&A advisory, debt and equity placement, corporate restructuring, special situations, valuation and fairness opinions, and financial advisory services.
  • Oversee the development of detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and strategic presentations.
  • Drive the preparation of marketing materials such as pitch books, Confidential Information Memoranda (CIMs), management presentations, and other client deliverables.
  • Collaborate closely with Managing Directors and other senior bankers to originate new business opportunities and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Mentor and supervise junior team members, providing guidance on analytical work and professional development.
  • Stay current on industry trends, market developments, and competitive dynamics within the Consumer sector.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A minimum of 1 years of full-time experience in Investment Banking as an Associate, with a strong emphasis on Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A).
  • Proven expertise in building complex financial models and conducting in-depth valuation analyses using methodologies such as DCF, LBO, precedent transactions, and comparable company analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience in preparing high-quality client-facing materials and transaction documentation.
  • Strong foundation in accounting principles, corporate finance, and deal structuring.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
