Investment Banking Analyst/Associate

Position Overview

Our client is seeking a highly motivated Analyst or Associate to join their growing team. This individual will be instrumental in supporting transaction execution and market analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in finance, a passion for technology, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain detailed financial models and valuation analyses (DCF, LBO, precedent transactions, trading comps).
• Prepare client-ready presentations, pitch materials, and offering memoranda.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis focused on software verticals (e.g., SaaS, DevOps, cybersecurity, vertical software).
• Support due diligence processes and coordinate with legal, accounting, and technical advisors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or Master's preferred for Associate level.
• 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or consulting, ideally with exposure to technology or software.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
