Investment Analyst - Fintech, Payments & Capital Markets (Buy-Side)

Overview:

A leading multi-manager investment firm is seeking a talented and intellectually curious Investment Analyst to join a high-performing portfolio management team focused on Financials, with a particular emphasis on Fintech, Payments, and Capital Markets.

This is a unique opportunity to work alongside a seasoned Portfolio Manager with a strong track record, contributing to idea generation, deep fundamental research, and portfolio construction across a dynamic and evolving sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth fundamental research on companies across Fintech, Payments, and Capital Markets.
• Build and maintain financial models, perform valuation analysis, and monitor industry trends.
• Collaborate closely with the PM to develop investment theses and support portfolio decisions.
• Present actionable ideas and insights in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

Ideal Candidate:

• Buy-side experience is required (long/short strongly preffered).
• Coverage of Financials or adjacent sectors preferred; direct experience in Fintech/Payments/Capital Markets is a plus but not mandatory.
• Strong analytical skills, intellectual curiosity, and a passion for investing.
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a collaborative team setting.
