Group Product Lead - Receivables Financing
The Group Product Lead - Receivables Purchase will shape and execute the strategy for receivables solutions in an International Bank. The role centers on enhancing client value, driving digital innovation, and managing the full product lifecycle in alignment with business priorities. It also oversees product development, risk management, and performance across key markets to ensure revenue growth and strong governance.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Product Leadership
- Develop and implement the global strategy for Receivables Purchase aligned with Trade & Working Capital objectives.
- Own the product end-to-end-from vision and design to commercialization and governance.
- Prioritize and deliver the global product roadmap to meet client needs and stand out competitively.
- Manage product backlog and ensure readiness for global rollout of digital Receivables solutions.
- Stay ahead of market, client, and regulatory developments to refine product offerings.
Commercialization & Growth
- Drive product performance, including revenue, usage, and return targets.
- Create go-to-market strategies and collaborate with Sales, Coverage, and Structuring to build a strong pipeline.
- Develop product positioning, client value propositions, and commercialization materials for key markets.
- Ensure smooth execution from pre-sales to post-launch with clear accountability.
Digital Transformation & Innovation
- Promote digital adoption and innovation to scale Receivables solutions globally.
- Partner with internal digital and data teams, as well as external platforms, to deliver transformative capabilities.
- Lead the digitization of platforms, processes, and delivery models, contributing thought leadership.
Client-Centric Development
- Maintain active client feedback loops to guide product enhancements and priorities.
- Convert market intelligence into actionable improvements.
- Ensure regional client needs are reflected in product development.
Risk & Governance
- Maintain strong risk controls across operational, credit, financial crime, and regulatory dimensions.
- Collaborate with second-line teams to manage risk appetite and ensure product suitability.
- Ensure governance compliance and readiness for global product launches.
- Identify and assess risks across the product portfolio.
Performance Management
- Own end-to-end business performance, including lifecycle health, efficiency, and commercial KPIs.
- Conduct annual product reviews to ensure competitiveness and scalability.
- Work cross-functionally to align product delivery with growth and client outcomes.
Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement
- Lead cross-functional teams and foster a high-performance culture.
- Influence stakeholders across Product, Sales, Risk, Technology, and external partners.
- Mentor talent and build Receivables expertise across global and regional teams.
- Deliver training and workshops to enhance internal understanding of Receivables solutions.
- Manage strategic relationships with vendors and third-party platforms to co-create solutions.
Regulatory & Conduct Standards
- Uphold the highest standards of ethics and conduct, aligned with the bank's values and code of conduct.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Proactively manage risk and conduct issues.
- Lead the Receivables business to deliver fair client outcomes and uphold market integrity.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- The ideal candidate brings over more than 15 years of product management experience in trade finance, with deep expertise in receivables and open account solutions. They should have a strong background in digital product development, project management, and stakeholder engagement, along with a solid understanding of international trade regulations and market dynamics.
