About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Pricing Analyst to join our team in Houston. This role is critical in developing and maintaining pricing strategies that maximize profitability while remaining competitive in the market. The ideal candidate will have strong quantitative skills, business acumen, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and customer behavior to inform pricing strategies.
• Develop and maintain pricing models and tools to support decision-making.
• Collaborate with sales, finance, and product teams to ensure pricing aligns with business objectives.
• Monitor and report on pricing performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Conduct margin analysis and provide recommendations to optimize profitability.
• Support contract negotiations with accurate pricing data and forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field (Master's preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools; experience with SQL or BI tools is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in energy, oil & gas, or industrial sectors.
• Knowledge of pricing software and ERP systems.
• Familiarity with statistical modeling and forecasting techniques.
