Exposure Management Manager
Selby Jennings have partnered with a leading global specialty insurance group to support the search of an Exposure Management Manager in London.
This position will support the non-Nat Cat Exposure Management function, overseeing risk accumulation and modelling for a diverse range of specialty lines including Terrorism, Cyber, War, Casualty, Financial Lines, and other exposures. The successful candidate will manage exposure for direct underwriting business as well as alternative capital syndicates, driving best practices and ensuring robust governance.
You'll lead the development and refinement of non-Nat Cat risk views across multiple classes of business, design and implement standardised exposure reporting frameworks, oversee aggregation management and risk appetite methodologies, and manage/mentor analysts.

Role Requirement:
- Minimum 6 years industry experience with a strong understanding of catastrophe and exposure management, non-Nat Cat accumulation methodologies.
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the capability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in managing teams and delivering complex projects within a matrix structure.
- Advanced technical proficiency, including SQL and R, and familiarity with vendor modelling tools for portfolio and pricing applications.
- Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving ability, combined with commercial acumen and comprehensive insurance market knowledge.
