About the Role:
The Managing Director - ECM will be instrumental in expanding the firm's presence in equity capital markets. This role involves leading ECM transactions for mid-market companies and sponsors, and driving strategic growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute ECM transactions
- Provide strategic advisory services to companies and financial sponsors.
- Develop and implement business development strategies to source new clients and opportunities.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to shape the firm's ECM strategy.
- Mentor junior professionals and foster a high-performance, collaborative team culture.
- Stay current on industry trends, regulatory developments, and market dynamics.
- Conduct market research and prepare financial analyses, valuations, and projections.
- Oversee due diligence and financial modeling throughout the deal lifecycle.
- Create and present marketing materials, pitch decks, and client presentations.
Qualifications:
- Experience in ECM transactions, ideally through investment banking, private equity, or capital markets.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Proven track record of transaction execution and deep understanding of the ECM product
- Strong communication skills and commercial acumen.
- Highly motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
