Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced candidate to join as the #2 to a lead ECM Portfolio Manager. The successful candidate will be instrumental in building and expanding the ECM function, leveraging their expertise to drive strategic initiatives and enhance market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive ECM strategy from the ground up.
• Build and lead a high-performing ECM function.
• Identify and execute equity financing opportunities, including IPOs, follow-ons, and private placements.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with investors, issuers, and other key market participants.
• Oversee the structuring, pricing, and execution of equity transactions.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
• Stay abreast of market trends and provide strategic insights to inform investment decisions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in equity capital markets, with a proven track record of setting up and leading ECM functions.
• Strong industry network and relationship-building skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Strategic thinker with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.
