About the Role

We are seeking a Director of Operations to lead the design and implementation of scalable workflows and technology solutions within our Investment Banking (IB) division. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence, leveraging advanced technology and AI, and ensuring processes are intuitive, efficient, and strategically aligned.

Key Responsibilities

• Gain a deep understanding of IB processes from target identification through pitch, execution, and closing.
• Research and apply best practices from FMI and across the industry.
• Design and implement workflows that prioritize:
  1. Strategic insights
  2. Quality work products
  3. Speed and efficiency
• Ensure workflows are user-friendly and capture data naturally-avoiding redundant steps and unnecessary clicks.
• Identify and manage the integration of AI agents for specific workflow components.
• Build processes that enable an overarching AI system to interpret all data and respond to prompts.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and ensure seamless integration across IB and consulting functions.
• Continuously improve processes and technology adoption.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant experience in operations, ideally within financial services, investment banking, or industrials.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing scalable systems and workflows.
• Strong understanding of operational tools, procedures, and performance metrics.
• Experience with technology platforms that support business operations.
• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence without authority.
• A strategic thinker who can also execute tactically.
• Prior experience in industrials or built environment sectors is a plus.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Denver, CO or Raleigh, NC.
