The Opportunity
We are partnered with a firm to identify a Director of Operations for a newly created role in Denver, CO. This position is ideal for a strategic operator who thrives in a professional services environment and is passionate about building scalable systems, aligning cross-functional teams, and driving operational efficiency.
This is not a compliance-focused role - it's a hands-on opportunity to lead the operational "factory floor" of a high-performing organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and optimize workflows across consulting and investment banking teams
- Evaluate and enhance the firm's technology stack to support scalable growth
- Develop and implement best practices for identifying and targeting potential clients
- Build and maintain a standardized SIM (Strategic Information Memorandum) process
- Align cross-functional teams on consistent procedures and systems
- Drive operational excellence through data, systems, and people
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure alignment with strategic goals
- Lead initiatives that improve internal processes and client delivery
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in operations, ideally within professional services, investment banking, or industrials
- Proven track record of designing and implementing scalable systems and workflows
- Strong understanding of operational tools, procedures, and performance metrics
- Experience with technology platforms that support business operations
- Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence without authority
- A strategic thinker who can also execute tactically
- Prior experience in the industrials or built environment sectors is a plus
- Based in or willing to relocate to Denver, CO
