Location: New York City

• Hybrid (3 days in office), flexible

Salary: $150k - $250k base + bonus

About the Role:

We are representing a growing bank seeking a Director of Operations to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for reconciliations, regulatory compliance, audits, break sheets, portfolio margins, clearing and filing, and balance sheets. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience with FINRA audits, portfolio margins, clearing and filing, and working with balance sheets at clearing houses and/or banks.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for FINRA audits and all compliance and regulatory issues.
• Oversee daily clearing operations, including trade break reconciliations.
• Prepare and resolve break sheets and exception reports.
• Ensure timely and accurate clearing and filing of financial documents.
• Oversee balance sheet integrity and manage portfolio margining processes.

• Risk management, leadership, vendor management, etc.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree, ideally in finance, accounting or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience at a bank, clearing house, or government institution.
• Experience with portfolio margins, clearing & filing, balance sheets, net capital, FINRA.
