Head of Capital Formation - Remote

A Real Estate Investment Management firm is looking to add a Head of Capital Formation to their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong network of UHNWIs, Family offices, RIAs, and other private wealth channels along with proven fundraising experience for Multifamily assets.

The Head of Capital Formation will be responsible for:

  • Spearhead fundraising initiatives across all investment offerings.
  • Leverage existing relationships and networks to identify and engage prospective partners.
  • Develop deep expertise in the firm's investment strategies to effectively communicate value to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Generate innovative sales and educational content, including blog posts and thought leadership pieces, to promote the products.
  • Identify and pursue national opportunities that align with the firm's strengths through targeted sales campaigns.
  • Conduct proactive outreach, including calls, meetings, and events, to engage both current and potential investors.
  • Create and execute a comprehensive business development and sales strategy.
  • Research and cultivate relationships with new firms that can benefit from the firm's offerings.
  • Stay informed on market dynamics, investor behavior, and advisor trends to inform strategy and messaging.

The Head of Capital Formation should have:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the capital raising industry.
  • Proven track record of raising capital from RIAs, Family Offices, UHNW & HNWIs.
  • Strong background in alternative investments and multifamily real estate experience.
  • Familiarity with regulatory environments across the U.S. and the ability to navigate them effectively.
  • Comfortable working with a dynamic and evolving product lineup.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and expectations.
  • High level of initiative, integrity, and a results-driven mindset.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to meet with clients.
