Director - Leverage & Acquisition Finance

Key Responsibilities:

Origination & Structuring:

• Lead origination and structuring of bespoke leveraged and acquisition finance transactions in the Asia region
• Design and structure deals tailored to client and investor requirements, balancing risk, return, and regulatory considerations.

Execution:

• Drive transaction execution, managing internal stakeholders (Credit, Syndication, Legal, Compliance) and external parties.
• Oversee due diligence, term sheet negotiations, and documentation.
• Ensure timely internal approvals and smooth closing processes.

Client & Investor Coverage:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with financial sponsors, private equity firms, asset managers, and banks.
• Lead pitch efforts and prepare tailored proposals and marketing materials.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related discipline
• Experience: Minimum 12+ years in leveraged finance, acquisition finance, or structured credit, preferably in Asia.
• Strong understanding of credit analysis, financial modelling, and investment decision-making.
• Proven track record in origination and execution of complex financing transactions.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements in Asia.
