We are seeking a highly driven and commercially astute Director to join our clients Frankfurt-based investment banking team. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong track record in deal origination, transaction execution, and sector-focused advisory.
As part of a lean, high-performing team, you will play a pivotal role in leading client engagements, developing new business opportunities, and delivering strategic advice across M&A and capital structure solutions. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of their chosen sector, a proven ability to sell complex ideas, and the execution discipline typically found in balance sheet-driven institutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the full lifecycle of transactions, from pitch to close
- Originate new mandates through established client relationships and sector insight
- Provide strategic advice to corporates, financial sponsors, and boards
- Collaborate closely with senior colleagues across geographies and sectors
- Mentor and develop junior team members
Candidate Profile:
- 10+ years of investment banking experience, ideally within a sector-specialised team
- Demonstrated success in origination and execution of complex transactions
- Strong client network and ability to generate revenue
- Fluent in German and English
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a collaborative approach
