CRE Analyst
A private investment platform is seeking a skilled Commercial Real Estate Analyst to support its lending and asset management operations. This role involves evaluating real estate-backed loan submissions, analyzing borrower and guarantor financials, and preparing credit materials that inform investment decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct financial and operational analysis of commercial and multifamily properties, including lease reviews, rent rolls, and market comps
Evaluate borrower and guarantor financials, organizational structures, and business plans
Review third-party reports (appraisals, environmental, title, etc.) and assess collateral quality
Assist in loan structuring, pricing scenarios, and credit presentation development
Collaborate with originators, underwriters, and asset managers across the investment lifecycle
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required; 3+ years of experience in commercial real estate underwriting or analysis
Advanced Excel modeling skills; strong command of financial concepts and valuation
Exceptional attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Familiarity with CoStar, LoopNet, or similar data platforms preferred
Experience across multiple asset classes (industrial, multifamily, retail, etc.) is a plus
