Following continued expansion, the company is seeking a Finance & Strategy Associate to work directly with senior leadership on strategic finance initiatives, operational performance analysis, and growth projects. This role offers significant exposure to executive decision-making and provides an excellent pathway into Corporate Development, Strategic Finance, FP&A, and broader business leadership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Commercial Analysis

• Support senior leadership with financial and strategic decision-making.
• Analyse business performance across multiple regions, business units, and growth initiatives.
• Conduct profitability, margin, and operational performance analysis.
• Build financial models to evaluate strategic opportunities and investment decisions.
• Present actionable recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Financial Planning & Performance Management

• Assist with annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes.
• Monitor business performance against budget and strategic objectives.
• Perform detailed variance analysis and identify key financial drivers.
• Support longer-term planning and business optimisation initiatives.

Growth & Expansion Projects

• Evaluate new market and expansion opportunities.
• Analyse investment requirements, expected returns, and operational implications.
• Support business case development for strategic initiatives and growth investments.
• Work closely with leadership teams on high-priority projects across the organisation.

Data & Reporting

• Develop and maintain financial reporting and management dashboards.
• Monitor key operational and financial KPIs.
• Ensure integrity and accuracy of financial information across systems.
• Leverage large datasets to generate insights that inform business strategy.

Candidate Profile

We are particularly interested in speaking with candidates who have:

• 1-2 years of experience in M&A Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Transaction Services, Deal Advisory.
• Strong financial modelling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Excel proficiency and experience working with complex datasets.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to translate analysis into commercial insights.
• A strong academic background in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• Native or fluent German language skills and professional English proficiency.
• A desire to move from advisory into a high-growth, entrepreneurial operating business.
