Controller

Our client is seeking an experienced Controller to join a dynamic and growing company in the energy and heating technology sector. This position offers flexible working hours (60%-80%) and the opportunity to contribute to a sustainable future by supporting innovative, energy-efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial reports and ad hoc analyses for management, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
• Guarantee correct accruals, provisions, and valuations for monthly and annual closings.
• Manage forecasting and budgeting processes to support strategic decision-making.
• Report financial, sustainability, and quality data to the group in line with corporate standards.
• Develop and enhance internal reporting tools while providing actionable business insights to leadership.
• Take ownership of the internal control system and ensure compliance with best practices.

Your Profile

• Completed commercial education with relevant further training in finance or controlling.
• Several years of experience in a similar controlling role, ideally within an SME environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with a proactive, hands-on mindset.
• High IT affinity: excellent MS Office skills and experience with modern reporting tools (Power BI, Power Query); ERP knowledge is a plus.
• Fluent in German and good English skills for group reporting and communication.
