Compliance Specialist (AFC) - FinTech - Frankfurt (m/f/d)

A global digital asset infrastructure provider is seeking a Compliance Specialist (AFC) to join its European team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the development of robust compliance frameworks and support anti-financial-crime efforts in a fast-evolving regulatory landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct monitoring and surveillance of customer activity, transactions, trades, and on-chain behavior.
• Perform audits and testing to assess the effectiveness of compliance and trade surveillance programs.
• Ensure adherence to national and international regulations, including KYC, AML, CTF, and Markets Compliance.
• Support the development and refinement of internal compliance policies and procedures.
• Stay informed on emerging trends and technologies in crypto compliance.
• Assist with risk assessments related to digital asset activities, including token evaluations.
• Investigate and report suspicious activities in line with regulatory obligations.
• Contribute to the implementation of risk management strategies for crypto operations.

Candidate Profile

• Strong academic background; compliance or legal qualifications are a plus.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in compliance, KYC, market compliance, or risk management.
• Knowledge of crypto markets and regulatory developments.
• Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
