About the Opportunity
A growing third-party benefits administration and consulting organization is seeking a Client Relationship Manager to join its Client Services team. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of complex client accounts, acting as a strategic partner while ensuring exceptional service delivery, compliance, and client satisfaction.
What You'll Be Doing
- Serve as the lead relationship manager for key client accounts, delivering proactive service and retention-focused support.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with client contacts, vendor partners, and insurance carriers.
- Take ownership of complex client issues and coordinate resolutions across internal teams.
- Support communication strategies related to employee benefits programs, including enrollment and educational initiatives.
- Analyze plan data and account activity to identify opportunities for process improvements and enhanced client experience.
- Partner with internal departments to support annual renewals and ongoing account management activities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and administrative requirements.
- Monitor claims activity and provide consultative support to clients regarding benefit administration matters.
- Maintain accurate records and protect sensitive client information.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- 3-5+ years of experience within employee benefits, insurance, benefits administration, consulting, or a related field.
- Prior experience managing client relationships and serving as a primary point of contact.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, including presentation experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
- Industry licenses or certifications are a plus but are not required.
- Ability to travel periodically for client meetings and benefit-related events.
