Associate - Middle Office & Operations (Trade Finance)
Responsibilities
- Independently manage trade finance transactions including factoring, receivables finance, forfaiting, guarantees, and refinancing.
- Monitor collateral coverage, covenant compliance, and perform daily controls and invoice reconciliations.
- Handle day-to-day operational activities between clients, front office, and internal teams to ensure accurate processing and reporting.
- Supervise client instructions, enquiries, and physical documentation to meet service level standards.
- Ensure compliance with bank and regulatory requirements during pre and post-transaction stages.
- Support product development, client servicing, and reporting functions.
- Maintain and optimise operational procedures and contribute to process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including legal, risk, compliance, and product specialists to support deal execution.
- Participate in regional performance initiatives and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
- Minimally 4 to 6 years for experience in banking operations or middle office functions, with exposure to trade finance.
- Familiarity with factoring and receivables financing products is an advantage.
- Strong collaborative mindset and ability to work well with different teams and stakeholders.
