Associate - Middle Office & Operations (Trade Finance)

Responsibilities

  • Independently manage trade finance transactions including factoring, receivables finance, forfaiting, guarantees, and refinancing.
  • Monitor collateral coverage, covenant compliance, and perform daily controls and invoice reconciliations.
  • Handle day-to-day operational activities between clients, front office, and internal teams to ensure accurate processing and reporting.
  • Supervise client instructions, enquiries, and physical documentation to meet service level standards.
  • Ensure compliance with bank and regulatory requirements during pre and post-transaction stages.
  • Support product development, client servicing, and reporting functions.
  • Maintain and optimise operational procedures and contribute to process improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including legal, risk, compliance, and product specialists to support deal execution.
  • Participate in regional performance initiatives and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
  • Minimally 4 to 6 years for experience in banking operations or middle office functions, with exposure to trade finance.
  • Familiarity with factoring and receivables financing products is an advantage.
  • Strong collaborative mindset and ability to work well with different teams and stakeholders.
