Salary: $90k - $120k + bonus
Summary:
We are currently partnering with one of the world's leading multinational investment banks to help grow their Wealth Management Operations team. This position plays a key role in supporting the operational lifecycle of mutual fund products while delivering high-touch service to top-tier advisor teams. The role involves leading the resolution of complex mutual fund and 529-related issues, managing escalations with precision, and overseeing reconciliation processes. The ideal candidate will bring strong problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work independently while juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Lead resolution of complex mutual fund and 529-related client issues, delivering high-touch service to top-tier advisor teams.
- Investigate and resolve breaks and discrepancies, escalating when necessary to maintain service continuity.
- Oversee daily reconciliation of mutual fund positions and transactions at both the CUSIP and account levels.
- Provide guidance and oversight to offshore teams, ensuring compliance with SLAs, quality standards, and process documentation.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with operations, technology, and compliance teams to support reconciliation and issue resolution.
- Liaise with external parties including fund companies, custodians, and counterparties to resolve inquiries and exceptions.
- Support audits, internal controls, and process improvement initiatives related to reconciliation and transfer processes.
- Document procedures and contribute to training materials for both onshore and offshore teams.
The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications and skills:
- 5+ Years of experience in Operations.
- Strong understanding of mutual fund products, CUSIP-level data, and account structures.
- Proven experience working with offshore teams and managing cross-functional communication.
- Hands on experience in automation.
